Flew Thurs. Aug. 5 from Oakland to Nashville with a stop at LAX. Plane emptied passengers in LA except for 10 of us heading to Nashville. Then an annoucement was made that we all had to deplane and head to gate next door but thankfully we would be boarding ahead of the line already formed at that gate. Never found out why we had to leave the original plane and that flight crew did not know the reason either. Once we were on the next plane the flight number was changed to our original flight number from the plane we just left. New crew had no idea either why we bounced from one jet to another at the last second. Left a little late and arrived a little late in Nashville and never did find out why the plane change happened. I fly Southwest alot but this is the first time a change happened without it being mechanical...a mystery to the 10 of us...
