I have not flown on Alaska Air in a while, but I have to say the flight crew was fantastic! All were
actually happy to help with anything and smiling!
The fight attendant even had my two sons take a picture with the pilots in the cockpit!
Flights were also on time both ways.

Airplanes suck....the poor people working the airlines get treated like crap because everyone is stressed out and feeling like they are owed the world and somehow they still were great on this trip. The tight quarters, and high stress are a bad combo. Alaska used to have the best food and service - now with cost cutting its just like everyone else...phbbbtttt! Better seats and inseat entertainment available on jetblue and virgin...

Check-in was fast, efficient...We did arrive early so no lines at check-in. Hated the extra $$ for our checked bags!
Friendly flight attendants...decent food--breakfast on trip over and dinner on return trip.
Better condition of seats on trip to Honolulu..the seats on return trip need upgrading-- "tired" looking/feeling.
Amazingly got blankets/pillows in each seat.
Our favorite airline at this point...several other times we have gone on other airlines to Hawaii..but have used Hawaiian the past 2 times. We will continue using Hawaiian as they far surpass other airlines for service/on-time and general pleasantness!
