I don't fly often, esp. cross country, but it appears to be getting worse. Flight attendants are generally doing the best they can. Flights rarely have any open seats, and now, 2 out of 4 flights between OAK/SLC/BOS and return, seats and tray tops on back of seats were literally falling apart. Felt like a sardine in a can with a lot of noise. Sigh. And another thing, so many unchecked bags, roughly 20% had no place to stow bags overhead! YIKES!
