    “Airtran Not Bad For The Money”

    Airtran is not too bad for the money. We took a trip from VA to Ft Lauderdale, FL during the Thanksgivings holiday. Departing on Nov 21, and returning Nov 28. The Departing ticket price wasn't too painful but the returning ticket. Watch Out. What a stinger. The Sunday after Thanksgivings surcharge is a killer. That leg of the flight was more than double. Yet still cheaper than the other airlines I checked into. Flight left on time for each leg of the trip. And surprisingly the airport wasn't as crowded as I had expected on that Sunday. Security went quickly and the TSA were very polite. Overall a pretty good experience for Thanksgivings travel.
