The best thing about this flight and flying Continental this time is you get notifications from both Continental and United. My flight was alittle late getting off because of traffic out of Newark. But we got to Phoenix close to schedule. Also, I booked my flight so that I would fly into Phoenix, but leave from Las Vegas. That too worked well and is something I do often. It still counts as a roundtrip ... as a matter of fact my total cost was a little lees than the RT from Phoenix....great service.

Since I booked with UA on a CO flight, confusion reined. I was unable to use auto check in. My reservation was canceled; when the agent recreated it, my precious aisle seat was gone. I sat squeezed into the middle. Result: an unhappy passenger. The confirmation # was changed from the UA scheme to a CO #.

New, very clean aircraft, good service. Seats are tight particularly for a long trip. Departure was a bit late but no big deal.

Good flight, on-time, good service. Luggage took way to long (30 min) to come out @ EWR. Need more seat/leg room - way too little for even an avg. person.

Check-in took forever. What's the point of having self-serve kiosks if you still have to wait a million years for someone to print out your baggage tags? Every flight I took (I had three-legs. ewr to phx / phx to san fran / oakland to ewr) was oversold and they had to make special accomodations to fit everyone. And no in-flight service beyond beverages? At least the in-flight staff were nice.

I have flown US Air almost exclusively to and from Phoenix. They have the most non-stops to the cities are regularly fly to and their fares are consistently the lowest. The service is friendly. One word of caution. While they charge you for their in-flight meal, they often run out of items and many people receive nothing which is really tough on a long flight. I bring my own food or snacks to bypass this problem.

I admit I haven't flown in over 18 months, but oh my gosh... Aside from the fact that a very well groomed couple was detained from boarding because their carry-ons were too large(funny, they looked smaller than the ones passing them by) and that the airlines' staff was less than courteous or informative, that everything from peanuts to a boxed sandwich displayed outrageous pricepoints,(the passenger sitting next to me ordered a snack for $6.00 and received 3 vendor machine sized boxes of crackers), and that only credit cards are now accepted(no cash)which means for those of us who do not use credit cards are out of luck, to the loss of music and movies on a 5 1/2 hour flight. How do U think I feel?
