Direct flight to France was awesome! Had a 12 hr layover in Frankfort on the way back. Arrived in Frankfort very late and had a 12 hour layover there. Hate long layovers, lodging eats up all your savings on a cheap flight, so to preserve the savings I had gotten on my ticket I slept in the airport. It's a good thing I'm young so it was bearable and also good that I was kind of sick so I was so tired I could have slept anywhere. Thanks for the savings, is it me or are flights getting more expensive??

Overall the flight was good as I was traveling with my 3.5 month old on my lap. Irritating how my fellow passenger seated in the seat in front of me leaned back his seat as far as it could go. I guess he doesn't care about how squished that made me and my baby. I am sure he would have minded if the tables were turned and his rheumatism was acting up.

Last week 3 members of our family took a flight from Newark to CDG in Paris on Continent, connecting to an Air France flight from CDG to Brest, France. The Continental flight was late and we missed the flight from Paris to Brest. Guess what? Air France required us to pay for an entirely new reservation and at top dollar. We lost the entire roundtrip ticket we had originally purchased from them - - if you miss a flight, your problem. Make sure to read the fine print on Air France tickets.
