Had a 7:30 p.m. flight out of Indy on the 31st. Flight was pushed back to 7:45 p.m. when I boarded. In 15 minutes we were on our way at least I thought we were. As we are next in line to depart the pilot tells us there are delays in Newark. As you can imagine all passengers were left to sit on the hot plane for over an hour before we were finally up in the air. When we approached Newark we were not cleared for landing and circled at least 12 times before we were cleared. Landed at 10:45 p.m. Continental can't tell me they did not know of this delay prior to getting us on the tarmac. As I said: "Wise Up" we don't care about your time record. Just tell the truth.
