    Took return flight 558 DFW-EWR. No curbside check in at DFW ; EWR has it. About 10 passengers in 1st Class/Priority Access line; no one in economy line, at least 2 or 3 extra personnel all concentrating on the computer terminals & totally ignoring the 1st class passengers. Had to lift my own luggage onto the scale by the check-in hostess then carry to another place for airline screening. Seems like for 1st class they could provide some help. Hostess on plane was very good. Food was better than the mess they served coming down. Next time I'll go Economy & grin & bear it; it just wasn't worth the extra money

    Even though I was forced to check my carryon bag because of the size of my toiletries, my overall flight experience was a good one. All flights were on time and very comfortable.

    CO was reluctant to allow me to change flt without change fee to avoid ice storm the following day. I had to keep asking to speak to higher level personnel. When they finally agreed to the change the plane had fewer than 30 passengers and DFW was closed the following day. I would have been stuck in Dallas. I thought I was dealing with AA.

    What is going to happen when they totally merge with United? Wish we still had Braniff and Muse in Dallas.

    Overall, a good experience flying Continental. The return flight was a better experience in that a movie was provided and the flight was less full.
