“Never will fly in/out of Charlotte”

First off, US Airways will never be an airline I fly again. We wanted seats towards the front of the plane and no surprise, they charge either $17 per seat or $19 per seat, depending on the flight. Well when we got on the plane from EWR-CLT and got to our seats we figured there was a mistake. Our knees were in our chests, it was RIDICULOUS. Then on our return coming back into Charlotte, the whoever (TSA, security, etc.) searched my friends checked baggage, left the letter that states they did but also stole her brand new bottle of perfume and a bag of "dry" toiletries that I had stored in there since my bag had no room. THUMBS DOWN Charlotte!! I was speaking with a friend and they said "they're known for doing that". Great. So no more Charlotte and no more US Airways.

everything was satisfactory but it pays to be a saavy, experienced flyer, otherwise it gets hairy. You need to depend on you, help may or may not be there and if you make the wrong choice it will cost you. my wife is always amazed at how important it is when there is someone who knows the ropes of airports, check-in, boarding etc.

I recently flew on a roundtrip Continental flight from Newark, NJ to Cancun, Mexico and was pleasantly surprised to find out that on both outbound and return flight a meal was provided...at no additional cost! The morning flight to Cancun included a small box of Total cereal with milk, a muffin and a small banana. The afternoon flight back to Newark included a hot turkey and cheese sandwich, grapes and a cookie. Plus if you had your own earphones you could watch the movie for free. Also, we were not charged for checked bags and carry-ons! Thanks Continental for 2 great flights!

Hey, Continental! I liked your service always, but the last trip made me feel bad...You are OK, but I'm so sorry for You. Service is great, staff is like always nice, but what's Happen with the food service? It's ashamed. You are limiting the drinks and charging for alcohol drinks? My flight back from Cancun was by MEXICANA airlines. What a difference! If I'll have a choice I'll choose there airlines for flights back and forth. Great service, quick respond, tasty food and everything is for FREE!

The last time I flew international, the TV's were free, now they charge $6.00. I didnt pay for the TV but the other customers were complaining they didnt get world cup series after they paid for the service. The ticket prices are constantly going up and you still have to pay for everything on board. They did have complimentary snack if you can call it that.

Shouldn't to pay for exit row seats. In-flight service was very good. The courtesy scale to weigh your bags should be before you get into the check-in line. Having it where they did slowed-up check-in with people re-arranging their bags.

check in was great because as a frequent flyer it was excellent. separate line is only way to go. very helpful. flight ok not great but what flight is today if you don't fly first or business.
