Flight was delayed and delayed and delayed again. Airline lied and said that I would not miss my connecting flight WRONG! So I had to rebook to a later flight, guess what, MORE DELAYS! I finally departed when my original flight was supposed to get me home. UGH!

I honestly don't understand how a 7am flight can be late every single time. US Air does nothing to let its customers know this ahead of time. This is the 3rd time in a row it's been late. I will be looking to other airlines to take a Monday morning flight.

I fly from NYC to RDU once a month. Every single time I fly in either direction, there is some kind of delay. Whether it be paperwork not being filled out on time, flight crew not there yet, or air traffic (LGA), I am always delayed. My delays have been anywhere from 20 minutes to 5 hours. Considerable since the flight time in either direction is around 1 hour and 15 minutes.

The outbound flight was delayed 3 times with 3 different reasons. The seat cushion was flat, uncomfortable and needed to be replaced. The service cart was not fully stocked. And, there was no available gate when we finally arrived at RDU so we sat on the tarmac for twenty minutes. The returning flight was not much better. We were delayed almost three hours "DUE TO WEATHER" in LaGuardia but, funny thing, every other NYC bound flight on the other airlines were all on time arriving and departing. When we deplaned, the flight attendant was too busy with her iphone to say thanks for flying with us and have a good day (even if she didn't mean it)! I'll think twice before flying USAir again.

It was a commuter jet. Incredible that airlines allow the so-called "carry-on" which is really large luggage! Time wasted to shove and push these enormous pieces into compartments and delay departure! Yet, senior citizens that no longer can lift, push and shove, have to pay $25.00 per piece for transportation of their belongings! Outrages!

    Unfair!

Flights were great, RDU is wonderful. LGA had long lines for security, but what would one expect in NYC? No complaints

Arrive at the airport on time, then you are delayed waiting for a flight attendant who is caught in the air traffic web. After over an hour wait, we are ready to board the plane and start to taxi to the runway. Announcement, this is your captain, we have to return to the gate because of a vacuum problem(air condition). After two announcement we are told the flight is cancelled due weather.air traffic control. Conflicting stories from the airline, rude gate agents, and no hotel. You are on your own. You have been rebooked sir for a 6 A.M. flight. Thank you, what am I supposed to do between now (8:30 P.M. and 6 A.M.)? You are own your own! When air traffic control cancels the flight we are not liable. It was not air traffic, it was mechanical. Not according to our system sir.

Hence deceipt to avoid hotel accommodations.

I did send an e-mail to the airline and they responded with an apology and 10K miles. It is something I must admit and quickly addressed. But the emotional scar of being lied to and inconvenience to me and my family will linger for a while!
