somehow they "forgot" the snacks on all flights. Each flight, they announced this. Delay in Dallas due to weather. Missed connection. Put 79 people on standby with less than 10 seats possible, but didn't tell us and had us wait 2 hours. Said no hotels within 60 miles had vacancy. Got a room at first hotel I called. Said no vouchers due to it being weather. Then gave vouchers to some people on same flight. Got 4 different stories as to where and when my luggage would be sent. None of the 4 were correct. Luggage arrived 1 day after my scheduled flight.

If there are less than 10 seats possible for standby, tell us.

If you're giving out vouchers, give to everyone or have a lottery.

Don't tell us there are no hotels when there are.

Just say you don't have a clue where my luggage will end up.

    TELL THE TRUTH!

Nothing about Delta is either. Everything is illogical, dated, and uninformed. They use a cumbersome "Zone" seating system that is about as unorganized as a flight to a second or third tier airport or country where people just rush the gate the second the doors open. My connecting flight was late to leave, later to arrive - I had less than five minutes to make my connecting flight. My return was delayed from 1145p to 145am for maintenance reasons. What's not acceptable is that they seem to be technologically challenged as well. They have our contact info but failed to use it to notify anyone via text, email, twitter, phone call, whatever. Worse, the desk clerks were uninformed and grew increasingly agitated/defensive by the demand for clear answers. While it's not their fault, Delta is certainly to blame for not keeping their end of the bargain... My only solace is to have received a $75 voucher after submitting my complaint.

The flights were on time and the crew was pleasant, however the airline charged $25.00 to check my bag (each way), and the only food were sandwiches at $10.00 each. Bring your own food and try to put everything in the carry - on.

We were travelling 1st class. From LAX to Boston, my luggage weighed 48 lbs. On the way back, from New York to LAX, I had less stuff (since I had a lot of presents), I weighed my luggage and it registered 48 lbs; The only difference was a pair of new shoes and minus all presents. At the curb check in my luggage weighed 54 lbs! I had to take some things out and put them in my carry on bag. It still registered 51 lbs.;the man said it was o.k.;good enough but still had to charge me. Mind you we were 1st class which allows 50lbs. He must have realized he made a mistake so he said:"Good news, you won't have to pay" instead of "Sorry, my mistake" I could not challenge him on the scale as I was afraid he would make my luggage dissapear! So, does anyone know where I can complain and have someone check the scale-which obviously needs recalibration.
