“Flying is more of a hassle than it need to be”

Just getting through TO the security line was a joke. American airlines people are stationed in front of security to make sure that passengers have only two carry on items. What a joke. When passengers ACTUALLY board the plane they have tons of stuff or oversized luggage. Left me scratching my head about the absurdity of it all.

I frequently fly with American Airlines, but this was the narrowest of planes. The stewards could barely get through the aisle with the drink cart. If one was sitting in the aisle seat, he got knocked whenever the drink cart passed and when a heavy set person passed.

as good as it gets to Dallas- if you want real food you gotta pay; prefer this trip to previous ones thru Atlanta

Have flown this route for 4 years now exclusively with Continental & continental express. This route if you have no adversion to layovers, is often a good economic deal. IAH(Continentals Houston Hub) has modenized with moving sidewalks & terminal monorails.There is a distance from Terminal A to Terminal C (Regional Jet/Express) a 30 min layover is really cutting it close in regards to making a connection.

We've been on this trip many times, and it always depends on the weather and traffic in 2 busy airports - lga and dfw. Security at dfw is a breeze. Lga has been getting a little better, but always give yourself lots of time.

As I boarded my flight to DFW, I asked an attendant if she would help me get my light carryon into the bin since I'm short and I didnt want to drop it on anyone. She said, "Ask a fellow passenger" and turned away! I held up the line and stepped on a seat to get it in myself. When I caught my AA layover/DFW, I asked again. At least that attendant didn't hesitate at all!

The flight had engine trouble at LGA.We were put on another flight to another airport. We arrived with minutes to spare to get our connecting flight &arrived in Dallas a little later than expected but it was ok.The staff was overwelmened but they were very professional.
