Both the flight to and from my destination was over 90 minutes late. I was also travelling with my dog which meant that the dog had to remain in her kennel for an uncomfortably extra amount of time. Not one airline employee offered a cup of water or small treat for my dog( which I might expect given that the round trip cost for the dog was more than my ticket.) Riding in small planes to and from meant that even small luggage had to be handed over to the airline for storage. I'll look for another airline next time and so should you!!

I am definitely not picky nor a complainer when in the process of being up, up in the air as long as I get to my destination, teehee, but boy, on my way back home to New York from Atlanta, GA, we were always "a short number" off for departure (the traffic was tail-to-tail, hehe). When we were finally flying, we were literally just lounging for a while since the captain got word that there was an unexpected thunderstorm in the NY area. We twirled and acrobated until we were low on fuel, haha! I had purchased my round-trip ticket non-stop, but we had to stop in Richmond, VA to make an emergency landing and guzzle up! I had the fuel truck right outside my plane window, and saw how the numbers incremented to 936... So I'm guessing that would be 936 gallons...? Hmmm... There was a take-off wait a little shorter than the first one in ATL, but it was to the point that they were giving out free snacks (in this day and age with these airlines even peeking at your waistline to charge a lil' more, you KNOW there was a mighty wait time, hehe!). Now, up in the air again... Expected turbulence due to the unexpected thunderstorm... All in all, we landed in our destination at 12:52 a.m., when our original arrival was estimated at 10:10 p.m. Landing that lil' plane was abrupt and dry, in both occasions, but I'm not complaining... For here I am, typing up this lovely review :o)

Two half empty flights! And booked in advance so got a decent deal. Security on both ends was easy and no hassles. Also on time. Who could ask for more?

after I offered to move to a later flight b/c the orginal one was over booked, the agent offered me Delta bucks and lunch vouchers for me and my kids, but that I would have to wait about 7 minutes and she would call my name. She didn't call me back for at least 20 minutes, my kids were hungry, and as the last few passengers were boarding she tells me the flight wasn't over booked after all and that we could board. We couldn' get our seats together and everyone knows there is no food served on the plane. I could have uded those 20 minutes to get my kids lunch before boarding! Once on board the lead stewardess announved that we had 3 minutes to get our bags in the over head bins and get into our seats nad if we don't that the tower would not let us leave LGA for a very long time and we would miss our departure time. This was announced over head more than once and not one flight attendant was helping to find us space in the bins for my carry on.Luckily another passenger removed his back pack so I could place my carry on in the overhead bin. Thanks Delta.

It may not matter to Delta, its employees and even some travellers, but I think appearance counts. And the appearance (dress, neatness and behavior) of the crew staff is a representation of the airline. Delta, in this regards gets an F. The cabin staff were absolutely slovenly. I recall a time when young people aspired to be flight crew. I can't imagine anyone aspiring to work with Delta if they allow their staff to dress and behave in such an unprofessional manner. UNIMPRESSIVE indeed!!

I went to ATL with my two kids and my husband. My son is 6 years old so he uses his own ticket. However, my infant is 6months old and was on my lap. I am a size 6 after pregnancy so I am not a big girl but the seats were tiny and my husband sat on the isle and he is 6'3" so you know if I was uncomfortable he was beside himself for 2 hours. And to top it all off they put us in the back of the plane coming and going. I know for next time never again.

I am so disheartened with the check bag fees and the overweight fees. I feel if we must be charged it sould be for one or the other not both for the same bag.Air Tran calls their fares sales, but by the time you add all the extra charges the fare is the same price as everyone elses.

I've used Air Tran exclusively between NY and ATL since 2006. I've yet to encounter a problem. As a tall person, I always go for exit row seating, but for this last trip, I flew standby on the return since missing my original flight. I got the last seat on the flight--in the rear. I knew I would pay the price by not getting good seating (because I am tall). Overall, my flights have been pleasant.
