As this was my first cross-country flight, I admit I was a bit apprehensive about the length of the flight. My trpidation was unfounded, as JetBlue's video service allowed my to pass the time watching my favorite shows and even a movie. That plus the flight crew keeping travelers informed as to our progress made the flight time seem like minutes. As for flight performance, the flight did leave on time and actually arrived in Seattle a bit early, which afforded my family and me with a bit more leisurely exit experience from SEATAC. The professionalism of the crew was much appreciated.

“Delta AMEX card misleading on free baggage credit”

We were lucky to arrive early to check in our bags as the check in took forever. It seems I was not the only confused person regarding the new AMEX card from Delta that touts free checked bags. It didn't work for my husband's reservation even though he has the same card. We paid $25. The Delta employee said I should not have paid it and instead talked with them first. To be in line wihtout a boarding pass would have taken longer. He gave me a $25 credit voucher, so either way I am out $25. The staff on the flight made up for the sour check in experience, they were lovely. The Captain was hilarious talking about being an ex-Marine drill sargeant and wearing pink in support of breast cancer research.

I travel to Seattle several times a year to visit family and friends. Since I started flying JetBlue I am a "Tru" believer! I've had 100% excellent experience in terms of customer service, smooth flights, and solid input from the captains in the event of turbulence. I am a large-size individual so the extra leg-room seats are well worth the additional fee. (I wouldn't mind if that fee bought a slightly wider seat as well.) In terms of price, they often charge more than some other airlines and I have to wait until a special promotion comes along. But it's well-worth the wait. Good job, JetBlue!

This was the experience from hell!!! So I go to the check in area and there are at least 3 or 4 lines forming behind the counters, people coming from everywhere and people not sure where to go. No one was organizing the lines. After signing in at the computer kiosk there was an incredibly long line at the baggage check in area. No one there to organize that line either. People confused, angry. The wait was incredibly long. Then the departure gate number was changed without an announcement of any sort. After standing around the wrong gate for about ten minutes I went to a reception counter and asked where the flight was actually taking off from. The last affront was having to stand in a long line, (an hour wait at least), in reception to get a seat on the plane after having checked in at the computer kiosk all ready. Only one worker was there and he was also handling the arrivals. At least 3 lines were forming with people seeming to have difficulty in cueing and cutting in line. No one there to organize that either. I approached someone there to see if we could get additional help. I got a lame excuse that this one worker was handling it all and we would just have to wait. I found this person, (I think he was a pilot), to be exceptionally condescending. Bottom line is this, Delta needs to get its act together. One saving grace, the stewardesses were great. Generous with the soda and snacks, extremely helpful and courteous.

What happened to friendly customer service? Customer service reps in JFK and the flight attendants onboard simply "went through the motions" with barely any smiles. Do they realize that some people are on their first flights or travel very rarely and would appreciate some friendliness?

I can't believe this still happens with all of the bad press lately, but we sat at the gate on the plane in our seats for 3 hours before finally taking off. We were told that due to one of the toilets being broken, we needed someone at American Airlines (in Texas I believe the pilot said) to sign off on a waiver. The pilot said there were having trouble finding someone to sign the waiver or something silly like that. Ironically, the longer we waited the more desperately the broken toilet was needed!

Best-natured, most helpful flight attendants in the sky. On my most recent flight the satellite system offering TV was not working for several channels; Crew quickly responded by making all premium movie selections free for the flight. Love checking that first bag free. And those special rows with extra legroom! I would pay a similar fee for wider seats as well, but at least these longer seats allow me to open the tray table over my 'ample' belly--impossible in standard seating. JetBlue is my default airline for these reasons and more. I'm adding them to my will. Sherry

We had to ride a huge bus out to another terminal because our plane couldn't get into the gate. While loading the "snacks" my husband watched a helper close the mid section door only to see him fall over backwards holding the door handle that had come off in his hand. We couldn't be seated together since we'd been scheduled for another flight and then had our flight changed without any notification. They said we were lucky to even have a seat on the plane. It sounded like no movies was common when they made the matter of fact annoucement. We had to wait over an hour before the flight took off. Miraculously they made up the time and we arrived at our destination on time.
