I got 2 free one-way tickets using Frequent Flyer Miles on American Airlines to Las Vegas. All in all, it was a good experience. I used the Self-Service Kiosk and I had one bag to check in. There were no signs showing where to check the luggage, so I had to ask an AA Representative. He pointed to a woman behind a desk with no sign. She charged me $25 for the bag and gave me a receipt. She instructed me to go to the Baggage Drop Off Area and she pointed around the corner. We couldn't find the place, so we had to ask another representative. No one seemed to really care. We did eventually find it. The temperature in the cabin was freezing. Many people asked to make the cabin warmer. We were told nothing could be done. We asked for blankets but American doesn't supply blankets. I had to borrow my husband's jackets to cover my legs even though I was wearing jeans. I froze the entire time. The flight attendants served beverages but nothing else. No peanuts or pretzels. Other than those minor issues, the flight was a good one. In comparison, we flew home on Delta Airlines. The check in process was very organized and there were knowledgeable representatives ready to assist. The temperature in the cabin was perfect and every seat had a blanket on it. Also, besides being served beverages we were also given 3 snacks....pretzels, peanuts and biscotti. The flight attendants came around several times offering beverages and more snacks. This was much different than the American Airlines experience.

Each flight left on time and arrived on tie. Entire crew was friendly, helpful and professional. Plane was clean and comfortable (economy). Water and non-alcoholic drinks were also made available. In-seat power for devices is a nice plus. In-flight entertainment offers a variety of music, television and movies (free and for pay). Puts U.S. domestic carriers flying this route to shame with the exception of JetBlue.

mechanical issues forced us back to the terminal resulting in a delay of 90 minutes. To make it worse Delta as ussual did not get the luggage to the passangers in a timely fashion. They are absolutely the slowest in getting the luggage off the plane.

departure was late , we were told there was a mechanical problem, we boarded 1/2 late, however we were stuck at gate for another 40 minutes while maintenance log was signed off and brought back???? On a positive they gave the movies for free because of delay. Why board us before they are ready? Stewardess didn't seem to want to be bothered, it was a full flight and they became rude over carry on luggage., bad attitude.

Departure and return flights were on time and that's a good thing, however the seats are smaller and uncomfortable. Leg room was great but plane is either too hot and stuffy or cold. As I said flights were safe so to me that means a thumbs up!!

I always feel confident in flying on Virgin America. Service is always great and very courteous. Never had any issues. Flights are smooth and on time. Def enjoy every aspect on trip. And for other laptop or tech geeks like me, there are outlets under the seats if you want to charge or not use your battery. Small but awesome feature!

First time I had flown Virgin America. Non-stop flight was fine and the pilot got us to Las Vegas 20 minutes early. Of course, something always goes wrong when you fly back to NY. Our flight left Vegas about an hour late but we arrived at JFK on time. I would fly Virgin America again.

Flew out of JFK on a Friday at 6:30pm. The first very good signal is that the flight was on time and take off quickly after pulling back from gate. Flight attendants were really nice and friendly. The plane was brand new and it smelled and looked clean! Unlike Delta!! We flew close to some area of turbulence and the captain kept the passengers informed at all times and flight attendants made sure everyone was safe. Landing very smooth and the luggage was out before we got to the carousel. Something that doesn't always happens. I'm a big jetBlue fan and always try to flight them unless I need to go somewhere where they don't have service. Have received numerous roundtrip tickets with their TrueBlue program and already accumulated enough to get the next trip soon. Highly recommend this airline.

Jet Blue is still the best, when you factor in, price, service, and scheduling. The other airlines are so awful that, it's pretty easy to see that Jet Blue is by far the best of all the airlines out there. JFK to Vegas and the red-eye back home, were great quick flights with no delays, and no luggage problems at all. Will try to fly Jet Blue every time.

Have not enjoyed a flight this much since I was 6 years old. The food was even good! The seat is comfortable and well equipped. I dock a point off the seat because there still could be more room... working on a laptop is still very awkward... just a bit too tight especially if the person in front of you leans the seat down. Also I am 5' 9" and all leg... could still use more leg room. The attendants were attentive and sweet. I will fly with Virgin again. I hope they expand their routes. Only other negative is that they charge for checking a bag like everyone else does right now.

COMPUTER PROBLEM before we left passengers allowed to go to waiting room if they wanted==seats comfortable on trip to Las VEGAS, But return flight got row 1 ,not enough leg room to stretch legs due to circulatory problem & because trays in the arms, seats were to tight, ==WE asked reservations over & over if those seat were good for seniors, they are not from our point of view, go to rest room ok. ROW 2 WOULD HAVE BEEN BETTER. ====THE FLIGHT GOING & COMING WERE VERY GOOD, pilots & attendants very good.

Another of the Jet Blue and Southwest generation airlines. Seats are leather with not much leg room. Nice amenities but everything for a price (except the soft drinks. My remote was stuck - not usable - seemed to have been so for some time.

We were suppose to leave on TUes it was canceled at 10AM that morning because there might be storms on the east coast. They were the only airline to cancel we had 2 15minut storms in afternoon and one at 7PM which was after the departure time. I lost a days pay and so did my friend that was also on that flight. We were put on the same flight the next night and then we were to leave at 6:42PM but departed at 9:30PM there was a problem with a rear door sat in the plane for 2 1/2 hours no drinks no nothing. I always go into Newark and never have a problem But i did here JetBlue does cancel at the drop of possiable weather. I will never use them again

Was recently flying to Las Vegas on Delta - we all boarded the airplane, but then immediately had to de-plane due to some sort of issue that was not disclosed, but they expected to depart at 10pm (3.5 hour delay). We, like several others, went to have dinner at the only restaurant nearby only to return to find out that the flight had departed 45 minutes after the original time. When I questioned the gate agent about the lack of announcements she was extremely rude & claimed that our names had been called several times and demanded to know where I had been. At least 8 other people also missed the flight & we all had to be re-booked on the next flight. The flight attendants were also amazingly rude on the flight & I overheard one complaining about a passenger wanting a blanket & asking if she should go knit her one since they had already run out - very bad day for all I guess! I wont be flying Delta any longer thanks to the lack of a decent mobile alert system for problems.

I was traveling a lot to Las Vegas for business and the only carrier I would fly on a flight this long was Jet Blue. Their planes are extremely comfortable and they don’t charge you for goodies and in flight entertainment. Every time I flew them to and from NYC JFK airport they were on time and very pleasant. By far one of my favorite airline carriers!
