Egypt Air is average in economy. Seats are narrow, sections of 3 across. Flight attendants were no frills or smiles service. Food good. Plane had some empty seats going to Cairo. Return flight. Plane Full-people leaving during crisis. Attendants were very busy.Seemed overworked. Service fast to none. Men travelling with children and families, walked and talked in aisles. When I tried to ask attendant, to repair my remote. She told me " SIT DOWN" but men continued to be up and about. I had to turn on call light and wait. Food good. Water had to be self procurred. Only offered once in 12 hours. All in all average, nothing to brag about except safe travel.

Economy seating has no cushion in the seats. The space between the seats does not allow room to use a laptop, and the room to tilt back is non-existent. The flight was nine hours of misery.

Although this was a long flight--10 1/2 hrs, it was quite comfortable as the seats are good size and I sat where I had plenty of leg room---food was good and flight was smooth

We had a trip to Egypt booked through a tour agency which included air from JFK to Cairo on EgyptAir. After finding reviews that said EgyptAir is "the worse airline I have ever flown" we were sceptical. However, the plane was clean and as comfortabel as other overseas economy flights we have taken. Pillow, blanket and newspaper were on our seats. Food was ailine food but reasonable quality and beverages were offered several times during the flight. (No alcohol served due to EgyptAir being a government owned airline of a Muslim country.)We also had 2 flights on Egypt air within the country and they were also pleasant and as comfortable as most USA flights.

The proverbial 'trip from hell' would have been a great deal more comfortable than this flight on Egypt Air! Poor, poor, service and seats that could have just come out of the bleecher sections of the original Wrigley Field. Half way across the pond, the lavs ran out of paper, soap, deodorizer and WATER. Imagine trying to flush a commode or wash your hands in a facility that emitted nothing more than a blast of air from both toliet and faucet!
