    Flight left N.O. on-time. On way to DFW we were advised there was a weather problem in Dallas and DFW was shut down. We were rerouted to Houston, where we remained for 2 hours, part of the time we were waiting to be refueled

    By the time we were able to return to Dallas (along with the hundreds of other planes) I had missed not only my connection but 2 other possible flights. There were over 40 people at the counter trying to get a seat and ONE attendant. There was CHAOS. We tried to call AA various times during the course of all this but were never able to get thru. To make a long story short, we spent the night at DFW in order to make a 6 a.m. flight the following morning. AA has no control over the weather but they do have control over their employees....who were rude on the plane, not helpful and just didn't care.

    i was supposed to arrive in lax at 1:15pm

    arrived at 8pm which caused us to miss a cruise and add $1500.00 to the cost
