Had a great flight both ways. AirTran employees were very accommodating. Check-in at both locations was easy even with long lines at Orlando. Luggage fees were $20/bag. Departure at both locations was on time. Air Tran advertises $99, but try and catch one of those. Good Luck! Planes were clean. Besides a business class section, there should be a section for crying kids. Hard to catch a nap with kids screaming "Momma".

I recently flew while dealing with a torn Achilles tendon which later resulted in surgery. I had never had a reason to ask for any special treatment and in fact I did not. However, the attendants saw my obvious needs and accommodated me with excellent care. They went above and beyond for me and with the utmost respect. Airtran will always be my first choice!

I just recently started flying and both my trips have been with AIRTRAN. They have been wonderful, with very nice attendants, comfortable seating and roomy. I did however end up with a broken piece of luggage this time (a broken off leg) which leaves my suitcase as no longer usable as it won't stand anymore. The airline does not cover this type of luggage damage which is not right. The leg was there and now it is gone and not usable. I am a little disappointed in this.

I usually fly nonstop, but because of schedule (and price), flew with a 2-3 hour layover in Atlanta this time around. I was flying with 2 young children and my husband, and did not experience any difficulties or delays on any of the 4 different flights (coming and going). We even got in early on one segment. We were seated near the back restroom throughout, and never even had to wait for the lavatory. This was probably one of the best flight experiences that I have had in a while, all things considered.

Flights were on time. During the check-in process online, we chose to purchase the option to upgrade to first class for $49 apiece--well worth the money. Leg room, comfort, service there are great! The flight was smooth. Attendants were very nice and helpful. Planes were clean. On our way down to FL. we had the opportunity to "volunteer" to bump at our connecting location, for overbooked travelers in Atlanta. Did so cheerfully, as we had no pressing vacation plans that couldn't wait. Pleasantly surprised, because we were booked on the next connecting flight out (departure, 15 minutes later than the one we bumped off of), and earned 2 rnd. trip tickets for it anyway. Super way to start a trip! We really enjoy AirTran. :)
