Delta did just fine on this MSP - Tampa flight. Great attendants, safe flight and a bit of humor.
If only they would move their hub back to Minneapolis-St. Paul, they'd truly win over all us old Northwest devotees.

People it's bad enough your kids sit behind me but if they are going to play DVD's please have them wear headphones or earbuds so I don't have to listen to it too!

I was traveling alone which I don't ususally do. The Flight service what great. Everyone was kind. At my 1st stop we waited for an extra 1 1/2 hours because there was a plane coming from another city that had people going to Minneapolis on it. None of us were happy about the long wait but thats the way it goes. Seats were comfortable and I arrived home safely. I plan to start taking several flights on Southwest since my son has moved to Tampa. Wish there was a way to get really reasonable flights.

“The worst experience checking in MSP”

When I checked in on Thursday, Sept.9th at MSP,
I was running late because I had gone to the wrong terminal, the woman from AirTran who was at the counter at Terminal 2 and helped me, even though I still had 15 - 20 minutes to run to the gate, did not help me at all, she refused to call her supervisor at the gate so she would informed the crew what had happened to me before they closed the door of the plane (the boarding pass says "show at the gate up to 10 minutes before take off".
She checked me in and immediately put me in another flight as stand by. The same for the Atlanta flight, I was in stand by. Making me late for my arrival at Tampa airport where I was going to rent a car and drive for 1 hour to a place I had never been before.
My first time driving in another state as well.
Poor customer service from Air Tran Check In Desk.

Upon leaving Minneapolis, we departed from the gate on time at 6:00 a.m. but sat on the tarmac for about 20 minutes. I got into Milwaukee less than 5 minutes late (about 7:25 a.m.) for my connection. There were about 8 of us on the original flight that missed our connection. We were told that the earliest we could get to our final destination (Tampa) would be after 10:00 p.m. that night. AirTran was not willing to give us any amenities. I ended up buying a ticket on another airline to get to my destination at 11:30 a.m. However, while sitting in the waiting area, I seen more upset customers from other AirTran flights that I'd seen in a year.

THE PLANE WAS DELAYED BECAUSE OF A SICK PILOT FOR 2 HOURS THEY COULD NOT FIND A REPLACEMENT. IT WAS ONE EXCUSE AFTER ANOTHER. DISORGANIZED INFO AND
WE KEPT BEING TOLD HE WAS ON HIS WAY , THAN COULD NOT FIND , THAN ANOTHER PILOT THAN A LONGER WAIT!
CREW WAS GOOD THAT WE DID HAVE. IT WAS JUST UNCOMFORTABLE WAITING AND WAITING AND WHY CANT DELTA HAVE A PILOT ON STANDBY AT THE AIRPORT ?

Flew from MSP to TPA (w/layover in ATL). Completely full flight and since I had changed my ticket the same morning I was in a middle seat on both legs of the trip - no problem. Service was good. The flights were on time. I got where I needed to be on time and that's all that mattered to me.
