Mostly good news. On the way out, I requested a switch to a bulkhead seat due to medical condition (both knees have been totally replaced). The extra leg room really helps and my request was granted. On the way home, same request however the employee at the podium asked me to return in 5 minutes as she was just setting up. I was the first and only passenger in line. I sat down in the closest seat to the podium. A line began to form and the clerk did not ask any of them to come back. When I entered the line (4 ahead of me) I was told the last bulkhead seats had just been assigned.

Everything was exactly as expected. Given current situation in the industry, I think Delta did a very good job - we got there and got there on time.

This was my first flight with Southwest. I'm not sure I would go running back if I have the choice. I don't like being herded like cattle for seating. As a matter of fact, I think it's ridiculous, but hey it is what it is. The flight attendants throughout the flights were all very good, very friendly folks......like riding with a family member. I missed not having wifi for getting work done. No great ticket price break either, but served the purpose.

I flew from MSP with a stop off in Denver. I arrived in Denver at 810pm as scheduled and was supposed to depart at 840pm to Seattle. The crew was "missing 1 flight attendant", so we had to waited almost an hour for that person to show up, so we could board the plane and be on our way. We arrived in Seattle an hour late, (11:30pm Pacific time) so it was really 1:30 am to my internal clock. I didn't like to inconvenience my friend who was waiting there for me. That was way to late, since we had a 2 hour drive ahead of us to get to our destination. I would have booked an earlier flight, if this could have been foreseen. Other than that event I thought the plane was clean and comfortable. The pilots made smooth landing and the rest of the staff was very friendly and helpful. I would fly Southwest in the future, but never in the evening. Thanks for a good experience overall though!

It seems to me that more and more flight attendants are just unfriendly. Not much of a greeting when you board the plane, practically throwing the beverages and "snacks" (if you call five tiny pretzels a snack) at you with not so much as a smile, and barely grunting at you when deplaning. Flying is becoming such a tedious experience anymore. A friendly face and a pleasant attitude would certainly help. If you don't like your job, change occupations.

The crew seemed to give that extra effort to make your flight enjoyable. The in-flight wi-fi was a joy to use, and it was free for the month of July.

We were there to check in early to avoid any traffic problems and the lady in check in counter offered us exit row seats. Very nice for extra leg room. We had no problems at all either way.

The flight out was good as could be expected. I was upgraded to the bulkhead and flew in reasonable comfort. The trip back was something else. My seat was changed, for some reason, to the back of the plane in the middle. They sat a retarded young man who had no idea what was going on. He was yelling when the plane hit rough weather and I had to calm him down. Once he was there, the rest of the flight was ok.. but he was clinging to me and holding my hand for reassurance the rest of the flight. The seconc leg of the flight I got seated next to a grossly fat lady who kept farting the whole way back to Minneapolis. I felt like puking on her but the flight was full and I would have had to live with it too. Bummer of a flight.
