Advertise rates but the are really not good rates at all. They say rates as low as $79 and there is really NOTHING to chose from. Seem all rates are at regular price and higher. What a bad deal this site is!!!

My husband and I traveled on one of the smaller jets (only two seats in a row) had a smooth, pleasant flight. Since we booked our tickets seperately we asked if it was possible to sit together, the representative at the gate was very pleasant and was able to seat us next to each other. I thoroughly enjoyed my trip both to and from San Antonio, TX.

Original 8:45 am flight on 6/28 cancelled the night before with no explanation. Rescheduled for 4:45 pm; stranded in Dalles with hordes of other wait listed folks while 3-4 flights left for San Antonio, all at least 1.5 hrs late. Ran from one terminal to another 5-6 timesfor different flights and while they changed gates repeatedly. Finally got to SAT at about 1:30 am on last flight which was almost 2 hrs. late. Nearly perfect weather in MSP the day of & day before scheduled flight and no bad weather in DFW or SAT. Most Americam employes were very obnoxious especially one women at DFW who kept hollering at the crowd to not line up and to get away from the counter. We are both seniors, I'm disabled, who find it difficult to travel like this but families with small children were worse off. American Airlines again? It'll be long time if ever regardless of price. This is not the first bad experience in the last year. We will be driving much more.

Thanks to Airfarewatchdog, we got a great price on tickets to San Antonio, TX. We'd never flown Southwest before. If you're a dawdler, don't fly Southwest. They work at staying on time, and their flights leave as scheduled. Their employees are friendly and let you know they're happy you chose Southwest. It was so nice not having to pay for luggage! The only thing I missed on Southwest was being able to choose our seats ahead of time. We ended up in the back of the plane on the way out, and my stomach felt sick during turbulence. Otherwise, we really liked Southwest.

I traveled with my two grade school kids to Texas. Every plane we took was completely full. The staff was pleasant and did give my kids their "wings" pin for flying. On our return landing...it was a slam dunk! So glad we landed sunny side up! My kids thought it was cool to bounce around. Landing in 40mi/hr winds is tricky. The pilot handly the weather the best he could. I always felt safe and they let us know exactly what was going on.
