Some delays (both ways) which were out of the control of the airline. Airline provided the information they could. In my 30+ years of traveling, I found travelers expectations change more than the airlines changing. Folks need to chill & realize the world does not revolve around you.

It's obvious from the check-in process to the pilot thanking us for flying Sun Country, that this airlines consistently tries harder. The flight attendants are efficient yet calm and low-key - they never appear stressed or impatient, and they smile a lot! I like that you can be among the first to board if you don't have a carryon, which speeds up the boarding process. The pilot kept us updated on altitude, temperature, etc. as we flew. They work hard to make flying as stress free as possible, which I really appreciate.

Because of fog at Ft. Myers, our flight was diverted to Miami, where we arrived at 12:30 a.m. (just after midnight). Without explanation, we were unceremoniously dumped at the airport to fend for ourselves until the next morning. Delta basically said "see ya." They did arrange a flight to Ft. Myers the next morning, but what did they expect us to do until then?? We wound up paying $200 for a hotel room. Adding insult to injury, Delta still hasn't credited my SkyMiles account for the MSP-RSW segment in spite of my many attempts to get this done.

We chose SW because of the price with no charge for bags. The one stop went smoothly each way with very short wait times.

Flying is not fun anymore. It's more of an ordeal. We took off late but arrived in Ft. Myers on time. We flew right over Chicago during a horrendous blizzard, and even though we were above the storm at 39,000 feet, it was very turbulent for about half an hour. I do not know why they didn't choose to reroute around the storm. The flight home was uneventful. My hubby got to have the extra TSA screening in both directions. Whee!

Fair flight, fair price. Comfortable & safe. Flight was delayed both directions for over an hour. First delay was well communicated; Return flight was not. Gate personnel, airport monitors & Delta dot com all had different information & ETA of return plane.

I found it frustrating that I could not select a seat online unless I wanted to pay $8 each way for a seat. Also I could not print out a boarding pass. Boarding passes are given out during check in the day of your flight. Otherwise the ease of using Humphrey terminal was great and the flight was standard. No problems.

Reservations, seating, snacks and courtesy were all very well done. The flights were on time or early arrivals. The only complaint I have with Sun Country is the problem of holiday flights availability and extraordinary pricing! I hope they can survive the consolidation of the largest carriers and their economic advantages. MSP departures are almost the exclusive property of Delta!

Everything went smoothly from booking to check-in to boarding to landing. The flight attendants were friendly and helpful. The only negative is that they don't allow you to select seats without paying a fee until 24 hours or less before departure.

Flight from MSP to Houston was a bigger plane.....3 seats each side. It was packed as well. Was surprised that they served breakfast on first leg (cereal, milk, banana) and snack on 2nd leg (turkey sandwich and something else. Overall, a 4/5 ranking.

The flight was almost 3 hours late leaving MSP. I could have flown cheaper and gotten there sooner with a flight that had a stop or two. Then they put us on a plane that had 42 rows instead of the original 46. Needless to say, they had to spend another hour trying to get people to give up their seats.
