    If you have any choice whatsoever, do not fly United...ever! Their flight attendants are nice, but their corporate policies are horrendous. From closing down customer service due to OT in a bad weather situation, to not staffing counters until they HAVE to, to not being able to help you over the phone, it is THE worst airline from a corporate standpoint. The flight crew and gate people are great, but they have no authority to help you at all. It did not surprise me in the least that they were the airline that left the minor traveler in a waiting area and forgot about him recently. Their executives appear to care less about their customers and leave it up to powerless front-line employees to explain it.
