I usually fly Delta to get the miles but just had a flight on Air Tran. Was I ever impressed! The efficiency of their boarding amazed me, including offering to check bags free in order to speed up the boarding process. We took off early. After serving beverages to everyone they went up and down the aisles asking if anyone wanted refills! Also the plane and lavatory was much cleaner than the Delta planes. Overall, very impressed.

Bin capacity for carry on bag was very tight. We never travel on the weekends but this was for a funeral and we had no choice. Thus, the price was more than we would normally spend.

My flight experience began for me as I found my seat. I looked down to have a seat and found a mound of crumbs in my seat. As I took a few minutes to brush off the mess, others were bumping in to me and knocking me down to get to their own seats. Once seated, I noticed that the seat back pocket that holds the magazine had a dirty cup, wads of tissue and a used barf bag in it. Too gross!! When we were ready to depart, the lead flight attendant that was speaking in to the microphone could not stop laughing and giggling long enough to continue with her speech. If I were a first time flier, I would be extremely hesitant and nervous about the professionalism of this team in the event of an emergency. On a positive note, Airtran makes check-in a breeze if you do it online at 24 hours before your departure. I loved that. The pilots on both flights (round trip) were excellent.

would like to see better ticket prices soon like today. My flight experience has been very good with airtran I really enjoy the radio during my flights i listen to Gospel music until I land!
