Flew United from MSP to ALB with a connection in Chicago. My check in experience was fine as I used the self serve kiosk. The plane from Chicago to Albany was teeny tiny and the seat was super uncomfortable. Not to mention that it was dirty and smelly (they didn't collect the garbage in the seat pocket before we all boarded). On the way back, United singled me out in ALB to take their $400 voucher to fly 4 hours later into MSP, and then got rude when I said "no thanks!". I booked this flight 7 months ago. I shouldn't have to be bumped because someone waited til the last minute to get on that flight. I do have to say, though, that United left on time (give or take 20 min), which is better than Delta who has flight delays every time I fly with them.
