Outbound flight arrived 15 minutes early!
Inbound was 30 minutes late, but that was because we flew around a big storm.
Even with rough weather nearby, the flight was smooth.
First time on Airtran was a good experience.

Online check-in easy. Flight crew friendly. No delays. Only problem was inconsistency with number of allowed bags. We had a small plastic bag with food which was allowed in Tampa as a carry-on. In Atlanta, gate crew wouldn't allow it as a separate carry-on. Had to squeeze it into a small flight bag. Food shouldn't be considered as a carry-on especially because they don't feed us.

AirTran was on time. The flight was much shorter that stated on the itinerary, both ways! As a fearful flier, I had nothing to worry about.

Flight was fine. Matter of fact. just what you'd expect today. No more. No less. Crew was efficient and civil. It was on time for both departures and arrivals. We like AirTran because we get direct flights, particularly to Cancun which is a must for us. They're not great like Midwest used to be, but nobody is today. We have managed to get from point to point with them without any bad experiences. I'm 6' 4" and I am locked into that seat for the duration; knees hard against the seat in front and butt hard against the back of my seat.

I have been very pleased with the service I've had from AirTran this year. I'm making round-trips to Tampa from Milwaukee every month or two, and even when the weather has been terrible (we had a significant delay getting out of MKE to ATL on Friday due to weather, NOT anything else!), we have had efficient communication from the airline about the cause of delay and they deplaned a three-fourths full plane when it became clear that we would be sitting for an hour or two!
Online check-in has been fast and easy, and when I needed to rebook a flight due to illness, I had no difficulty in doing so, and at an excellent fare to boot.
I will continue flying AirTran until I move from southern Wisconsin.
