Our trip home was not as easy as our layover was in Kansas City and there was a 2 hour delay bringing us home late.

The flight departed and arrived on time, however luggage check-in was far from pleasant. I didn't know this ahead of time, but if you don't check-in online the night before you will lose your seat on the plane. We ended up having to fly business class because of the lack of available seats. On the way home, we were able to check-in online, but to our amazement we took the last two available seats. I don't know what the other passengers did to reserve their seats ahead of time, they probably paid an additional charge. The flight costs the same as other airlines, if you budget in the additional seat costs. Would I fly them again, I don't think so.

Flight attendants were very helpful and courteous. Kudos to them. Nicer than most other airlines. Accomodations were so-so. Plane had 6 seats across with 3 seats each side divided by an aisle. Plane was cramped. Seats Ok - comfortable enough to last no more than a 4 hr. flight. I'm NOT huge for a man, average at 6 ft., 193 pounds. As always, flying is NOT what it used to be with airport security (understandable) and airlines forever making planes as economical (and uncomfortable) for them at the expense of their customers. If I could find a way to get from point "A" to point "B" as fast , or faster, for same price or cheaper, with same or better rate of comfort, I would! I guess these are the signs of the times. Joe

I flew on Southwest for the first time in probably 15 years and was pleasantly surprised at the experience. I was leery of the idea of not having a seat assigned, but learned their new(er) system works fine. Just be sure to check in online as close to 24 hours before flight time as possible. On the short leg of the flight they actually served peanuts, and on the longer leg they had a snack bos of chips, crackers and cheese and cookies - a big difference from any of the other domestic airlines I have flown on. Free baggage checking was a plus. They don't seen to have as many nonstops as the majors, but they will definitely retain my business for now!

Milwaukee airport closed, but Midwest/Frontier had no flights out for us. We said we could book as far out as 5 days, and they refused, had nothing out of either Milwaukee or Chicago. All they would do is refund 1/2 ticket (return) and we were on our own! Never fly this airlline again,
