“Will Fly AirTran Again!”
by Fly_Mama_Fly on May 5, 2011
Flight from Milwaukee to Orlando
- Airline:
-
AirTran
- RT/OW
- Round Trip
- Number of Stops:
- No stops
- Date of Flight:
- April 2011
- Seat Class:
- economy
I don't recall when I flew AirTran prior to April 2011, but I can tell you that I'll book flights with them in the future! I pre-printed my boarding passes and was able to bypass a long line and go directly to the empty line for those who already had their boarding tickets. It went seamlessly well, and the staff was accommodating and respectful. The seats on the plane were more spacious than all other airlines I've traveled on over the past couple years. The flight was booked with a lot of young children going to Disney. It was understandably loud, which was cool. The kiddos were excited. I only wish AirTran offered free headphones to those of us who would have liked to hear a little less of the enthusiasm. :-) Other than that, the flight experience was pleasant and I'll book with them over other airlines in the future if prices are competitive.

Had no troubles at all. In fact, Frontier crews were excellent - - friendly, helpful, funny. And the planes were very new, had roomy seats and leg room, and had TV screens in the seat backs so you could watch movies and TV shows. No troubles with TSA in Milwaukee or Orlando. Very professional and helpful. In Milwaukee, 2 people in our party were pulled out at random to go through the new scanners, but it took about 5 seconds each. If only Frontier would offer free bag checks, it would be my favorite airline as of now. Of course, we had excellent travel weather. If you throw in a snowstorm, I'm sure all of these areas would be strained.

Would recommend this airlines to anyone. Price was great, only drawback was we had to go to Milwaukee when we have a airport in Appleton to get good rate. Would like for more airlines with competitive rates to come here.

We were happily bumped from a United Airlines flight to this one, getting us to our destination 1 1/2 hours earlier on a non-stop. Excellent legroom in our row 4 seats, nice leather, and even though the plane was full, we received excellent service as well. Friendly attentive crew. My only complaint is that there are NO chocolate chip cookies on flights before 10am!
