Check in online - only small luggage can be brought in the cabin area - the jets that seat two - one across, nothing with wheels. They will check it for free at the gate for you. The overhead bins are very small. Baggage is ready for you as you exit the plane. They are very accommodating. Great service all around.

I was very pleased with AirTran. We were travelling with two seniors who needed wheelchair assistance. Going was a little rough. We had asked for wheelchairs ahead of time but could not find when we reached airport. However an airport guide came at just the right time, got us wheelchairs, and walked us to our flight. We also ended up getting upgraded to business class. Since both my father in law and husband are 6'4 the additional leg room was very much appreciated. On the trip back wheelchairs where immediately available and although there was no upgrade we did get bulk head seats which also had better leg room. Everyone at AirTran was very pleasant and helpful.

Crew really verbally abused customers!
Will never fly AirTran again; would rather take bus, train, or walk. Made my flight home on Delta seem like First Class.
Sitting on a park bench is more comfortable than their seats.
Service worse than even one-paw "bites!(Terrible)"!
