The flight to DC was great! Check at curbside drop off was great. I was at the gate in plenty of time, and the flight itself was great! The return flight was less desirable because the flight was overbooked and delayed. Fortunately, I was able to stow my carry-on bag, but many others in zone 4 had no overhead stowage space. The aircraft itself made strange noises prior to takeoff, like rivets were being replaced - not exactly comforting to hear. But we did take off and make it back to Memphis comfortably and without incidence. I would certainly fly Delta again, especially since they have non-stop flights to DC.
