It is very hard to sleep on a long flight when the bright movie screen is shining in the seat directly ahead of you. On a 6.5 hour flight, 2 movies are shown, so the cabin has this light show for several hours. I miss the days of the darkened cabin with just lights for those who indulge in reading material.
Otherwise the flight was pleasantly uneventful.

Mexicana offered great service on both legs of our journey in the early morning and late at night, despite being in bankruptcy. Great food, great service, greAt seats, And lots of leg room. I'd definetley fly them again.

they failed to properly check my bag, they refused to call me back concerning the bag, they sent it to the police dept rather than check to see if they had just ticketed the passenger on the bag tag. TACA airline is by far the worst airline I have ever flown.

After not having flown with Continental for over 20 years, we decided to fly with them to Costa Rica (our other choice was Taca:forget it!). The only positive were the meals which were above average. On all 4 segments of our round trip we noticed a morale problem. The cabin crew seemed indifferent to us and we had to ask them for basics such as water etc. "No Star Treatment with Continental"
