Everything went well. The checkin lines were very short, security went quickly, boarding was calm, our seats were as reserved, the crew was professional and friendly, the flight was smooth and on time. Our only issue was my wife's audio connection was faulty - she had to hold it steady to keep it from making static.

Our trip on ATN in April was our second in a few months as we were so impressed with the first trip back in Feb. This trip was fine except that we were seated in row 40 near the back and my husband complained of the lack of leg room. Sure enough, when we got up to leave the plane in Paris it was visually noticeable that the seats were much closer together due to the curvature of the plane at the back. On our return flight we asked for seats closer to the front and they were just fine....at least for an 11 hour flight. Service is always top notch on this flight and we will try to fly ATN whenever we fly to Paris.

Overall service was as expected in business class. I wouldn't classify this as one of the more exceptional experiences, but it was overall ok.

The condition of the plane was another story. Overall the interior of the plane seemed old. The panel in front of my seat came out, and I could see the exposed cables/wires under the seat in front of me. During the flight I kept having to replace the panel so I do not kick it to the aisle. On my way out, I saw that someone else's seat's side panel came out, exposing the life jacket.

Food was decent. Movie selection was not too great for new releases.

The recent volcanic disruption created minimum distraction for our recent trip, LA-Paris. Because of a 3-hour delay, Air France issued vouchers that could be used in any Air France LAX terminal restaurant/bars. During the day of flight, AF e-mailed to update on delays. Their accounting was very accurate, so that we did not have to wait for takeoff at LAX longer than necessary. The crew was delightful, food above-average, and a travel bag with personal accessories a nice touch.
