Heads up that there's no entertainment on these Delta planes. -- On this route, a 3.5 to 4.5 hour flight depending in which direction you're going, it's kind of a drag. The flight attendants have an explanation at the ready: "It's because these are the old Northwest planes," like that's supposed to make you feel better!

I bought the ticket through Priceline. I've flown American a lot and this was a pretty ordinary American flight. No delays outbound. Return trip MSY - DFW however was delayed and that meant a mad dash to the gate in DFW. However, I will say the AA people were beyond courteous and helpful in terms of helping us get to the right gate, telling us what was happening, etc. They did an exemplary job of managing a bad situation.

Always on time; baggage guys work hard; the price was right; no fuss, no muss; all this and non-stop, too.

The flight was comfortable, some audio problems - static intermittently. Arrival landing was 30 minutes early but gate not ready when we landed so we waited 30 minutes after landing before being able to deplane.
