Confortable flight, service was good and price was reasonable. Recommend this non-stop service to Madrid and connection to a destination beyond.Beats most European hubs for less crowds and good connecting flights.I intend to take the same flight this summer due to my good experience.

Most of the cabin crew could not be bothered to be gracious or helpful. A couple of exceptions. Food was low average to icky. No pillows....spilled water on my sister twice and said "oh don't worry, it's only water, it will dry". Not even an I'm so sorry.

Flying is not a pleasure anymore. One dumbo from 1st class came back to tell his friend in economy, in a loud booming voice about the steak he was having and the lovely this and that.

I'd rather take the train anytime I can. Since I like to go to Europe I do have to fly there. However we took the fast train from Madrid to the So. of Spain and it was lovely.

Flight held up 75 minutes from Madrid (no gate assigned at Heathrow). At Heathrow waited 50 minutes for pad assignment, 30 minutes more for stairs to be rolled up and 45 minutes more until buses arrived to take us to terminal. Ran full pace between terminals (I am 72) and was held up at borders as they announced gate closure on our LA flight. Went to rebooking line and was told by staff no flights available for three days. Waited in line for 2 1/2 hours and seats opened up for later flight that day. Flight 1/2 hours late loading, then had to wait 45 minutes for them to locate an extra pilot. Then waited 2 1/2 hours more for de-icing machine to arrive. On arrival at LAX their was a security hold on the plane at our gate and we waited another hour before disembarking.
