    As long as you can compact everything in a small carryon, Spirit is the way to go. If you have to check bags, avoid Spirit as their fees are high. If you do fly, upgrade to the big front seat. On this LA-Vegas flight it was a $15 upgrade and my knees thanked me later.

    I happen to be one of the lucky ones and got this fare for $19 each way. I always enjoy taking Southwest to and from Las Vegas because the flight is always fun with the captain and crew on this route.

    US Airways absolutely on-time & comfortable seats! Flew to Vegas to see Cher; she was great. Would do it again.

    Delta's departures are not regularly on time. After being at the airport 2 hours early we ended up boarding 20 minutes after scheduled boarding and ended up departing 30 minutes after the scheduled departure time.

    Passengers were running out the door to try to catch their connecting flights.

    In on Wednesday home on Thursday. It was Ok, except because we arrived back in LA early, we had to sit and wait for a space for 15 minutes.So why rush???

    Just need more leg space in economy, that would be great.

    United has always been good for us.
