The seats were terribly uncomfortable and seemed quite worn out with no comfort left in them, the movie on the TV kept breaking up with both video and audio. The bathrooms were horrible, floors wet with urine and a general mess.

Service on this flight was "horrible." Little or no presence of flight attendants ..... one slept for about 2 hours of the flight. Flight was packed. Obviously, AA doesn't need to worry about customer service but we'll not fly with them again.

A couple of considerate United employees at check-in and in-flight service made this trip endurable despite picky, delaying TSA agents, aircraft delays in departure, and a late, unprepared arrival in Los Angeles Saturday night.

The good news is that the return flight was on time. The flight to Kona was not! We had to board a bus and go to the middle of nowhere to catch a different plane! The flight crew was as mystified as we were as to why we had to do this.At least it was non stop. Two hideous movies for kids going out and on the return. Very poor choices!

I was impressed with the ease of this flight. A330 plane offered a little more leg room than other planes. Very professional crew and flight attendants. I will not hesitate to fly on Hawaiian airlines in the future

The layover was 3 hours and there were other flights that would've made my layover shorter. The flight time was extended.

We checked in online and brought only carryon luggage. We got upgraded to the economy plus section where there is a lot more leg room. It was much more comfortable than economy. On the way back, however, we were in regular economy which was much more smooshed. Also, our flight was early coming into SFO, but late leaving to LAX, which was kind of annoying. But, they did get us to LAX rather quickly so that we landed only 15-20 minutes later than expected. Other than that it was lovely and very timely.

Flight was fine; easy. We really don't like the way they "nickel and dime" you to death. Upgrade (purchase) bulkhead or emerg. row seating for extra leg room; upgrade meal(purchase); and so on. Of course it all started with paying for a checked bag. We were not offered headsets on the flight over (even though we read that they were $5 each, AND we'd have to pay $5 even if we brought our own). However, the headsets on the return trip were complimentary. The music, movies, games, etc.? - extra cost.

Flight to Kona was delayed due to mechanical problems. We were shifted to another gate and they quickly got us seated. We were about 15 minutes late in leaving but the time was made up in the air. Flight from Kona to LAX was prompt. We arrived at LAX about 15 minutes ahead of schedule. Very smooth flight.

Plane was too cold. I had a long sleeved shirt on and it was still too cold. Seats are too close together. Can't lean forward and rest head on tray table, can't cross legs. Too bad - American used to advertise (and have) the roomiest seating in the fleet. Plane departed 2 hours late. When they rebooked seats, they gave us a row 40 seat, even though many other seats were open. Had to question the row 40 before they offered the other. No comparison to Alaska Airlines.
