It seems the planes are smaller and packed to capacity these days. The whole payment for food, plastic only, hardly anything complimentary anymore, but rates are higher makes for a so-so flight experience for me. Upon my return, the plane was late from MN, so we boarded and departed approx. 40 min. from the original time, which made my connecting flight time only 10 minutes from deplaning! It was a mad dash, and when I got to the gate, the sign read CLOSED. Thank God they were still about 4 passengers that were still in line to board, otherwise I don't know what would have happened. There was no delay sign on the monitor, of course--which adds to my aggravation.
