A luggage fee of $79.96 for 2 is almost standard. But a $33.98 convenience fee and a $53.96 fee (above the initial quote) to insure I get to sit with my girlfriend for the round trip was rediculous. Also a priority boarding fee was an option/fee that we declined or we could have flown cheaper on another airline and possibly got a drink included with the flight. Also our departing flight was over 45 min late which the airport said was normal for an Allegiant flight.
Had Alamo rent-a-car for $249 week. Picked up at airport and there were $56.93 in taxes, license and tire/battery fees not included on my itenerary from Allegiant Airlines Vacation Package.
No extra fees were incurred at the Bilmar Hotel in Treasure Island but we didn't receive our requested king size bed or get a Gulf Effieciency that included a balcony.
Not sure if all these taxes and fees are standard but when I reserve something and pay up front with my credit card I expect to get what I pay for and pay what the agreed amount was.It should not be that hard to figure all taxes and fees into the package instead of using a sales tactic to make your trip look much cheaper than what it is.
