“Delta Ticket Agent Would Not Allow Us to Check In at 5:22 am for a 6:00 am Flight”

My wife and I were denied check-in because we were 8 minutes late of the 45 minute check in requirement. We were then coerced to either spend another $1,900 for 2 vacant 1st class tickets on the next flight or spend another $600 for new tickets the next morning flight out. There were very small lines that morning, we could have easily made it to the boarding gate within 30 minutes of departure if the Delta Ticket Agents were willing to accommodate - which they would not. I will never book a flight on Delta again.
