The airport was nice as always. Security was quick, check-in was quick...no issues. The Continental President's lounge was less desirable. It had an old, dated feel to it, poor snack choices and very limited service availability. The magazine choices were horrible!
Here is my big problem....my flight had the option of "in-flight entertainment"...the tv's you pay $6 to watch...however, mine was broken. I know that something like that can happen, but the issue is how its been handled. I tried calling the airlines, but it takes way too long on hold, so I went online. I filled out a complaint. Continental also sent me a customer satisfaction survey...I filled that out too, and since...nothing! No phone call, no letter, no email saying, "Hey...we're sorry...we're going to get that fixed so some poor schmuck doesn't have to watch his neighbor's SpongeBob Squarepants show for three hours to be entertained."
I'm not sure they actually even look at these surveys or complaints at Continental. I am a head of cattle to them....just another buck in their coffers.....
Before the merger with UA, I felt like Continental did a great job with customer service....not so much now....sad.....
