I had had an accident in Kpna and told the airline early asking them to put me on a direct flight into LAX. They said they coudn't do this and I had to fly on the red eye which took over 13 hours .In a 3 seat row which is impossible to stretch. By the time I arrived in LA I could barely walk. I am a premier flier. I understand that the direct flight from Kona to LAX is being discontinued. This will force me to fly another airline.

The aircraft that flew the flight between Kona and LA does not cool properly. You couldn't feel any air blowing and the temperature was way too warm. People were sweating and fanning themselves and their children the whole way (5 hours!).

It was an overbooked flight and they managed to get us on in a very professional and respectful way. Although late on take-off, the flight attendants were very professional and courteous and did not have anything but appropriate attitudes. When I handed them my United Mileage Plus credit card to pay for my drink, they acknowledged the card by handing me another drink at no charge. Thanks to a tail wind, we landed in showers at LAX a few minutes earlier than schedules.
