My flight from Knoxville to Washington was interesting. The passenger next to me had complained that the seat was wet and as she sat down she noticed that small ice crystals, almost like snowflakes, were falling on her. I also noticed the same thing happening in my seat. When she complained to the flight attendant, he told her that the there was nothing wrong, it won't her her, the flight was sold out, there were no seats available for her, so her only option was to sit and shut up or get off the plane and try to book another flight. Then the flight attendant went to the front of the plane and told the pilot. The pilot then got on the PA and announced to the entire flight that "the small snowflake like crystals were nothing more than simple condensation just like what forms on the outside of a glass of sweet tea that all you southerners love to drink so much". We said nothing for the rest of the flight after being given a science lesson and scolded at the same time.
