I recently travelled between Kansas City and Paris France on American Airlines. I am grateful to the pilots for a safe out and in-bound flights. However, I was annoyed by the hefty bagage fees of $100 to CDG (next time I fly bagagge fee will be my No.1 criteria before choosing an airline). In-flight service to Europe on other airlines usually comes with complimentary adult beverages, but NOT on American Airlines, everything was for a hefty price --unlike other airlines. In addition, I was caught in the NO FLY Zone due to the Iceland volcano spewing ashes. I ended up being stranded in Paris for 9 extra days. I DO NOT Fault American Airlines for being stranded.
