Loved the warm chocolate chip cookies and humor of the flight attendant. It was a whole different animal from our usual aiirline choice.

From check-in through security and boarding we had no problems. Crew greeted us with smiles upon boarding and deplaning. Because the flights were full they offered to gate check our carry-on bag which we chose to do to eliminate the hassle of overfull bins on board - was a great decision on our part after watching others struggle! It would be nice to have more room in between the rows of seats, but we are fortunate to be short! Yes, we'd fly US Air again one day.

The Midwest flight arrived a few minutes early on the flight to NYC, then about 40 minutes early on the return. That was great! The seating is crowded (of course) and the service only 'fair'. The "fresh baked" chocolate chip cookies were obviously not fresh and a word of caution -- they only offer Pepsi products. Very good with the most important factor though ---- no delays on the direct flight.

I understand that MidWest airlines and Frontier are merging/have merged. I miss the best care in the air. I have flown Midwest for the past 10 years, at least once a year for the past 8. I have never failed to be inpressed by the friendly folks..until this last jaunt. The flight attendants were short, rushed us through the beverage service and when we encountered major turbulence, they acted like any one with fear/anxiety was being a baby. I for one thought that falling out of the air from 37 KFT seemed like no fun and others were having more problems than that. I am reconsidering my airline choices

Overall good service, good flight, good comfort, good convenience. One improvement. There were three flights leaving from MCI on Midwest and there were not enough employees at check-in. There were some very stressed out people in the line. Otherwise, pleasant.
