    Although there was nothing outstanding that made the flights better or worse than any others, I did have the privilege of witnessing the compassion of two flight attendants on our return trip to Indianapolis. From New Orleans we changed plans in Atlanta where a quite elderly woman traveling alone boarded the plane. She needed assistance because of mobility problems and for reasons unknown, the woman was visibly upset and weeping. The attendants were very attentive and throughout the flight, frequently stopped to console and reassure her. From conversations I overheard, I wondered if this was the woman's first flight ever or her first time traveling alone. Regardless, I was deeply moved by the concern and compassion of these Delta attendants.

    Leaving Indy and arrive in Tampa @ 2:10 pm. Departing flight from Tamapa to New Orleans scheduled to leave (and does so) at 2:35. Change plans, transfer luggage and still leave on time? Time after time, Southwest does it and does it consistently. No long layover. No missed transfer of luggage and departures and arrivals on time. Great business and personal travel airline.
