Have flown many other airlines in economy class, but the leg room on our flights with Southwest was significantly better than on several other airlines I have recently flown. Ticket counter staff and airline flight staff were true examples of wonderful customer service. Wish I could have chosen seats in advance, but I knew that wasn't the way they did business when I booked, so I can't complain...it was my choice to fly this carrier. It is nice to fly on a larger aircraft, especially when dealing with overhead bin space. And no charge for baggage...well the motto BFF (Bags Fly Free) hits home for me. We checked 4 bags and no increased costs. Yeah!!! No complaints from me!

This was a Friday-Monday trip. 1 stop each way. Each flight except the first one was oversold, and they asked for people to bump. Annoying. Not enough room for carry on bags, so several were checked at the counter. I flew carry on to AVOID the baggage claim hassle. Flight home was late leaving FLL and almost missed connection. Very bumpy ride both flights home.

Air Tran was very under staffed at the Indianapolis airport and it took more than 30 minutes to check in even though I did the online check in. I had a bag to check, at $15, and that needed to be tagged by an Air Tran person.......and did I mention they were understaffed?
Flight attendants were nice and offered refills on beverages.
