We have had good experience with the direct flight to Orlando. AirTran is a preferred airline with Disney, which means you can check your bags all the way through to a Disney resort (make arrangements with the resort), which is a real perk. A Disney bus will pick you up at the airport and bring you back when it is time to go home. In fact, we checked our bags at the resort and spent most of the day in the park before leaving. Good deal too! Go AirTran!!

“Average to terrible for our return flight check-in”

My only complaint was the confusion that occurred on our return trip concerning our confirmed seats. There were 5 of us traveling together and that included 2 children. When my son checked in on line it showed that there were no seats available so he called and was told that the seats were assigned because that is done as a courtesy to make sure that we had seats together. We were told that we were on row 31. When we checked in at the airport we were told that we did not have seats assigned and that we would have to wait as the flight was overbooked. This caused quite a bit of stress for my daughter-in-law because she did not know if they would be on the same flight, would be sitting together, would not be able to fly home at this time, etc. When we tried to get some help we were just told to wait and see. It worked out but not before a couple of hours of high stress and us being scattered all over the plane. My son's family does not fly and this was only their 2nd time and I do not think they will do that again. I feel that this situation was not handled well at all and no one at Air Tran seemed to care to take the time to explain what their policy was..... We found out that the flight was over booked by just 1 and they offered to move passengers to exit rows first to clear seats for those that did not have assigned seats. I feel that a little bit of explanation would have gone a long, long way.

The Huntsville International airport in Alabama completely rocks above all others! Easiest check-in experience every time. The airport employees are very helpful.

Problem was a passenger carried on a small dog. Dog yelped the entire flight and disturbed everyone sitting near it.
