I paid some approximately $90 additional dollars extra for seats that had more leg room. I'm guessing that the people who sit there extend their legs, therefore breaking down the forward edge of the seats so that you are slightly sliding forward. I did this for my husbands convenience. Anyway, that was my plan. The seats on AF are like sitting on a wooden bench, There is absolutely no padding at all. Silly me - this is the 3rd time in 14 months that I've flown on them to Paris. Also, they couldn't cool the plane. It was icy cold in the forward seats, but something was wrong with their AC. It was horribly uncomfortable.
