On the return leg from Charlotte to Houston, it went like this.

The US Airways flight was scheduled to depart Charlotte 10PMish Mar 28. Weather conditions in Florida contributed to a late stat and the departure time was pushed back to 12:15 AM Tuesday, March 29. Then pushed back to 12:45AM. Then pushed back to 1:15AM. Then the flight landed and we were not informed, but found out that the crew had 'timed out' and were going home. US Airways scurried around to find another crew with no success. At 2AMish the flight was cancelled and 150+ people stood in line to be re-booked.

I was offered a 6am Continental flight and a hotel room. Declined the room and waited at the airport for the 6AM flight.

My problem is; what kind of management structure does not plan ahead for a crew when 150+ people are waiting to fly home. Absolute lack of caring on the part of US Airways as far as I am concerned.

I will not fly them again. You are forewarned, also.
