I am a seasoned traveler, and I have never been treated so poorly as my party and I were treated upon our return from HNL on flight CO72 and continuing on CO 358 from IAH to DCA.

First, there were three of us traveling together, and we had spent extra for upgraded seats all together in row 10, the three in the middle of the plane. When we went to check in online the morning of 3/26, we discovered we have a different plane, no row 10, I am assigned a middle seat in row 32 and my companions don't even have seats on the first leg. Trying to deal with agents on the phone took over two hours, and they were extremely rude to us. As a solution, they told us to get to the airport early to get seats. This basically ruined our last day in HI. We had to cut our day short on both ends, and although we got seats, we were not together. On an overnight flight this is really annoying. On the next leg, we were again supposed to be seated together in seats ABC and had boarding passes. As we got on the jetway, my companions were told they no longer had their seats. Instead, a man and his cello sat next to me. My friends had middle seats in different rows. Is this how Continental treats its frequent flyers? We were extremely unhappy with the service we received, and would not recommend Continental to anyone.
